Since December 2019, CYMO has been available to companies all over the world. This is the one of the AXA Climate’s services to go beyond parametric insurance. CYMO is a global service, available 365/24/7, designed to provide real time alert and response services for those facing natural disasters, facing all sort of potential losses (human, assets, business activity).

CYMO is an innovative service built on the collective intelligence of dozens of climate and weather experts around the world, a 365/24/7 Ops team and a unique global network of satellites, drones and social networks across the globe to help companies to protect their employees and their assets, hence to improve their resilience and minimize business interruption.

Together, the technological input and human expertise enable the analysis and prevention of risks linked to extreme natural events like floods, cyclones, tsunamis, storms, earthquakes, wildfires and volcanic eruptions.

Anticipate, Alert, Response

CYMO is structured around 3 essential functionalities, covering the complete timeline of the natural hazard management process.

ANTICIPATE helps our customers to prepare the reaction process before the event occurs with complete geocoding of the assets and adaptation of existing contingency plans.

ALERT provides our partners with contextualized and customized information to make the right decisions at the right time. 365/24/7 gradual alerts with precise recommendations are sent through different channels like email, SMS or briefing by a call.

RESPONSE helps our customers to quickly benefit from a visual assessment right after the natural disaster. This is done using a 3-vector approach of satellites, drones and social network analysis to visualize the extent of damage caused by the event, as well as its severity, all within a few hours of its occurrence thanks to remote surveillance.
