AXA Foundation for Human Progress

AXA is now bringing together its main philanthropic initiatives, both in France and internationally, under the new AXA Foundation for Human Progress, which is endowed with €60 million per year. This Foundation aims to support high-impact projects in the cultural, scientific, environmental, social, and societal fields, in France and in the 50 other countries where the Group operates. 

Gathering philanthropy initiatives to amplify their impact 

In an increasingly complex and risky world, marked by challenges such as climate change, social inequalities, and health crises, AXA's commitment aims to go beyond its responsibilities as an insurer and the mere coverage of risks; it is primarily about promoting the construction of a more resilient and inclusive future. 

This project is in line with AXA's mission: Acting for human progress by protecting what matters. By consolidating its historical commitments in the fields of culture, environment, health, and science, AXA is equipping itself with the means to achieve its ambitions in order to better protect and support current and future generations. 

A multidisciplinary approach to better address societal challenges 

Through the establishment of a centralized platform, rigorous monitoring, and the simplification of access to its financial support, AXA aims to bring together a diverse range of partners from the associative, institutional, academic, and cultural sectors who share its values and vision of protection.
