In the heart of Paris, AXA inaugurates global innovation center
Today in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, AXA is inaugurating “JAVA”, its new global center dedicated to innovation, data and emerging technologies.

Showcasing AXA’s ambition in technology and innovation, “JAVA” is an environment-friendly, technological and agile space that promotes new working methods. It will be home to all of AXA Group’s newly created divisions centered on innovation and technology.
AXA Next: A new entity dedicated to innovation, to build new services and business models designed to enhance insurance cover.
Since 2015, AXA Group has stepped up its innovation efforts by developing a complete worldwide ecosystem, representing an investment of more than one billion euros.
In order to go a step further, AXA Next* will officially open on January 1, 2019 as a new entity of the AXA Group. Its teams are dedicated to creating new services and business models beyond insurance, in the fields of:

- Platform economy
- Business continuity for SME
- Mobility
AXA REV: A division dedicated to data and emerging technologies
To establish technology as a vehicle for new business opportunities, we have decided to combine our Research & Development endeavors and our internal expertise on data, platforms and emerging technologies in a new division named AXA REV, for Research, Engineering & Vision.
This organization will aim to provide the necessary framework for better data management. Its objective is to support operational entities and promote the widespread deployment of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things.
