For several years, we have been operating in an increasingly uncertain environment, where common reference points are shifting and the established equilibrium is constantly being challenged. The role of insurance seems more essential than ever. 
As an insurer, we must fulfill our primary mission - protecting our clients - but also now play the role of a compass in an increasingly unstable world, guiding them through appropriate prevention policies and a service-oriented approach. As an insurer, we make a decisive contribution to the stability of major social and economic balances, for today and tomorrow. 

Looking back on an uncertain and unpredictable year, AXA Group CEO Thomas Buberl highlights the positive role insurance plays in society. He commends the Group on its performance and the solid model it has established, while stressing the need to look to the long term to continue to protect the interests of our policyholders. The Group is now striving to insure the future and push back the limits of insurability, while strengthening its customers’ confidence.
