Advancing inclusive health solutions worldwide
Millions - and growing - go without care. Find out how AXA EssentiALL’s inclusive insurance is changing that by meeting people where they are and providing them with the care they need.

Millions of people still fall through the gaps of healthcare systems worldwide, left without essential health protection. AXA EssentiALL, present in 21 countries across both mature and emerging markets, is working to change that by designing inclusive insurance solutions tailored to how people actually live, work and seek care. The approach starts with listening. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, AXA EssentiALL studies local health-seeking behaviours and partners with trusted community organisations to build solutions that are accessible, attractive and affordable. Two recent initiatives in Nigeria and Thailand illustrate this philosophy in action – but they are just part of a much wider ambition to advance health equity for all.
In Lagos, the Pharmacy as a gateway to care
For many Nigerians, the local pharmacy is the first - and sometimes only - point of contact with healthcare. Kampé health insurance was built around this reality. Developed together with AXA Mansard and partners PharmAccess & DrugStoc, Kampé delivers quality primary care through community pharmacies as part of a fair-cost healthcare insurance proposition. It includes telemedicine consultations, discounts on medicines, outpatient care and hospitalisation coverage.
In Bangkok, the nudge comes from the Workplace
In Thailand, where one in five adults is affected by hypertension, AXA EssentiALL is pioneering a workplace-based approach. Together with Krungthai-AXA, Accor and digital therapeutics company Naluri, we designed an employee care program for hotel workers in Bangkok. Staff can access guidance on nutrition, fitness and mental wellbeing through a digital platform and in-person workshops, helping prevent health risks before they become emergencies.
The reason we called this initiative Health Equity 4 ALL and not Health Insurance 4 ALL is because access, prevention and treatment for ALL are the objective. Affordable, Accessible, Attractive health insurance is one of its stepping stones. Along with really understanding who we are protecting.
