Derue

Virginie Derue has been Head of AXA’s Responsible Investment Research since 2021. In this role, she leads thematic research focusing on key macro themes such as climate, biodiversity and social, and oversees related engagements with corporates to inform investment decisions and policies. 

Prior to this, she served as Corporate Credit Research coordinator in 2020, overseeing the integration of most material ESG risks and opportunities in fundamental research.

In her previous roles and from 2002, Virginie held different positions in fixed income mostly as a European Credit portfolio manager in charge of AXA’s accounts, as Co-Head of Euro Credit team between 2011 and 2013 and Head of Credit Book for AXA between 2014 and 2019.

She joined AXA in 1998 after started her career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young. She graduated from ESCP Business School with a master’s in finance and holds a MSc in Research for Finance from University of Paris Dauphine.
