Nature & Biodiversity Analyst
Benoît Galaup joined AXA’s RI Research team in April 2024 as a Nature & Biodiversity Analyst. He leads engagement campaigns and contributes to the integration of Nature into investment decisions. He also publishes research notes and contributes to collaborative initiatives (Finance for Biodiversity, Nature Action 100, and the TNFD).
Previously, he held the position of Manager for Biodiversity, Sustainable Finance, and Green IT at the Entreprises pour l’Environnement (EpE) network, where he facilitated collective work among large companies on environmental issues and supported the development of voluntary commitments.
He also actively contributed to the launch of Iceberg Data Lab, an ESG data provider, and supported large companies in responsible supply chain projects at PUR Projet. His career began with several hands-on experiences in agriculture, followed by applied research at INRAE on agroecological practices.
He holds a Master of Science in Agroecology (Norwegian University of Life Sciences and ISARA Lyon), an engineering degree in agronomy (École d’ingénieurs de Purpan), and a technical diploma (BTSA) in horticulture.
