Thomas Buberl, AXA Group CEO, will participate in the event "Building business resilience: How collective leadership will reverse nature loss", organized by the World Economic Forum, World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), UN Global Compact, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Business for Nature on Monday June 15.
This virtual event will bring together inspiring companies and global leaders to explore how integrating nature into decision making is essential to becoming a forward-looking business.
The discussion will be interactive and will highlight lessons to be learned from the interdependent emergencies of nature, climate, health and people. And, in doing so, examine how business can strengthen the resilience of our systems and support collective action to accelerate progress towards a more sustainable future.
Thomas Buberl will have the opportunity to answer the question: "What is AXA currently doing for nature, and how is this relevant to the company's resilience?" and to present in particular the new Act4Nature commitment made by AXA and other companies.
