AXA is proud to announce the launch of Unlock Education, an ambitious program in partnership with Ashoka, a global NGO leader in social innovation. This initiative, spanning from 2025 to 2027, aims to rethink education to better address societal challenges such as polarization and social fragmentation.
Unlock Education is based on the certainty that education is a fundamental lever to enable young people to maximize their potential and shape their future. By focusing on empathy, cooperation, and leadership, this program aims to instill in youth the essential skills and values to strengthen social cohesion and living together, so that they can become a driving force for positive transformation within their societies.
Unlock Education will support 30 Ashoka Fellows, social entrepreneurs striving to address systemic challenges, and implementing innovative solutions tailored to key stages of children's and adolescents' development:
This approach supports young people at every stage of their development and enables them to unlock their full potential.
In its first year in 2025, Unlock Education will be deployed in France, Turkey, and Belgium. These countries will form the foundations for the implementation and continuous improvement of the solutions offered by the program. Subsequently, the initiative will gradually expand to Germany, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, while ensuring the program is adapted to the specificities of local contexts, without ever losing sight of its international scope and ambition.
