To reinforce health and wellbeing in the context of Covid-19
1 minute
AXA announces today it will offer to its employees two additional days paid leave to be used before the end of Q1 2022. This initiative is a way for AXA to thank its teams for their work during the health crisis, and to offer them an opportunity to take care of their mental and physical health after a long period in exceptional circumstances.
This announcement comes during AXA’s first global event ‘Healthy You’. This week of education around health is a new step in the deployment of AXA’s people strategy, where health and wellbeing of employees are key. AXA Global Health and Wellbeing program, which was launched last year, provides the same benefits to employees across the world, including free medical checkup and mental health support. These benefits also complement existing initiatives such as the extension of AXA’s Smart Working strategy to all its entities worldwide in order to foster their work-life balance.

AXA Group Chief Human Resources Officer
The Health and Wellbeing of our employees at AXA is at the heart of our people strategy. The rollout of Smart Working has mental and physical wellbeing at its core. These two days of special time off are one of our initiatives to help our employees following the very difficult months we have faced. This approach of protecting AXA employees’ health goes beyond the crisis and is part of a long-term strategy. Protecting our personal and organizational resilience is critical to our long-term success and we are happy to support our employees as they take care of their well-being.
