Gilles Moëc is appointed Chief Economist of AXA Group

AXA announces the appointment of Gilles Moëc as Group Chief Economist. Currently Chief European Economist of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he will join AXA on June 3, 2019, and report to Andrea Rossi, CEO of AXA Investment Managers.

In his new position, Gilles Moëc will be responsible for developing top-tier models, views and research analysis on key global economic trends and for shaping the AXA Group’s economic outlook. He will also be in charge of providing research on the macro-economic financial environment and market trends which will be integrated across AXA IM investment strategies.
