To find out more, Greg meets Francesca Baggio, an AXA-supported researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Biology of Aging. Francesca explains the importance of mitochondria and how errors that occur during cell replication lead to aging.

Greg also meets Miia Kivipelto, an AXA-supported researcher at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden to find out how to lead a healthier life (including being physically active, adopting a suitable diet, etc.) in order to slow down mental decline in the elderly.
