AXA Training Centre
In October 2020, we strengthened our partnership with Liverpool FC by also securing the naming rights to the new training centre. The AXA Training Centre, based in Kirkby, brings together the club’s youth and First Team football operations on one site. This cohabitation enables a powerful transmission between generations embodied by LFC Academy’s reputation and successes. This state of the art 9,200sqm facility forges a pathway of improvement, progress, and success. Giving AXA’s name to this campus is also a way to be by players’ side in their every-day lives, especially at trainings when they build their confidence and improve their game.

In September 2023, AXA reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to gender equality by inaugurating the AXA Melwood Training Centre for the Liverpool FC Women's team. This significant stride in women's football comes as AXA strengthens its partnership with Liverpool FC, becoming the naming partner of this top-class facility. The AXA Melwood Training Centre is not just a training ground; it's a new home where the women's team can hone their skills and embark on a journey towards new heights of achievement.
