Launched by NUMA in partnership with Renault, AXA (through its AXA Partners entity), Nissan, RCI Bank and Services and Paris City Hall, the CityMakers program is working to build the city of the future together, by encouraging collaboration among public and private stakeholders, along with large corporations and small businesses.
AXA Partners is the AXA entity dedicated to building unique solutions with its partners in the following sectors: automotive, mobility and travel, prevention and health, home and energy supply, telecommunications, retail commerce, bancassurance and international assistance.
The partners of the CityMakers project are inviting the most innovative startups to propose solutions to the issues of urban mobility, focusing on four challenges:
AXA supports projects around new urban mobility services challenge, especially with the selection of a startup that could co-create the Cash & Drive solution. This solution allows people who lease a car to finance up to 100% of their monthly leasing payment if they are willing to put their car on a carsharing platform, whether the vehicle is rented or not during the month. Doing so, they will benefit from AXA’s insurance, and additional services such as assistance or cleaning of the vehicle.
The selected projects will be announced on September 28, 2017. This announcement will trigger the projects' development phase: the eight selected startups will have three months test their solutions. The results will be communicated early 2018.
The selected teams will be able to rely on the support and expertise of the various partners. AXA will intervene in support of projects for new urban mobility services.
