AXA attracts the world’s top developers at Devoxx

On April 5, 6 and 7, AXA will be at Devoxx, an international event for programming innovation, where the Group will present its ground-breaking projects to an international community of more than 2,700 developers.

Although programming used to be restricted to certain fields of work, it now involves a growing number of professional families and is attracting more and more talent.

For AXA, digital transformation is a priority. We firmly believe that developers’ skills are essential for us to achieve this transformation and offer our customers digital services that closely meet their needs.

This idea has led the Group to take part in Devoxx France, a major event for developers around the world, taking place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on April 5, 6 and 7. AXA is a Platinum sponsor of the conference, alongside IBM, Microsoft and Talent Lab.

Several AXA developers will be speaking at the event. Cyril Lakech, who coordinates the developer and tech leader community at AXA France’s Web Center in Lille, will present his “10 Ways to Make a Developer Happy” so that AXA can attract the best and brightest developers at the conference!

AXA Chatbot Design Camp in Barcelona

One innovative project led by the Group recently was the AXA Chatbot Design Camp. The event held in Barcelona on March 23 and 24 was an opportunity for teams working on chatbots to share their knowledge, identify common problems, and work together to find solutions. Guests from Microsoft attended to contribute an outside perspective to the discussion and present their own platform. Camp participants also organized into mixed groups to work on several ideas that solve some of the problems encountered by teams in the different Group entities or suggested new potential opportunities for AXA.
