Axa Prévention & AXA Spain.
For more than 20 years, AXA France has founded AXA Prévention, a non-profit organization that contributes to the development of responsible behavior through actions aimed at informing and educating the public about the risks related to health, traffic and home risks. The objective is to get people to make behavioral adjustments needed to make life safer for themselves and others by reducing the number and severity of accidents and injuries.
AXA Prevention conducts national surveys, publishes educational materials, participates in awareness-raising activities in the field and communicates via television, radio and digital channels.
The partnership was launched in 2015 to encourage more physical activities among non-athletes. Since the program’s inception, there had been more than 400,000 downloads.
AXA Prévention spearheaded a major educational media campaign through various mainstream radio stations i.e. Europe 1, France Bleu, RTL, RMC and France in order to diffuse messages to promote physical activities to the grand public. The campaign reached at least 50% of the 65 years old age group and 30% of the age group of 25-39 years old. Post-campaign figures also indicate that 87% of respondents felt that the campaign’s messages were valuable and 70% agrees that the campaign encouraged people to pay more attention to their health on a daily basis.
AXA Spain sponsors the social platform 'Ponle Freno' which focuses on road safety. Through several means (social medias, smartphone application, press release, media presentation...), the partnership tries to reduce road risks by promoting safe driving behavior and increase awareness of road risks. Think tanks are organized to generate initiatives and lobby to promote local authorities to takes measures. The program is also present in events such as the national road safety awards and the 'Ponle Freno' marathon to raise funds for a charity.
