Since being launched in 2011, this week of events brings together all employees from the group around various actions, from all levels of the company's hierarchy, including Executive Committee members. In each and every country, subsidiaries of AXA rolled out local actions illustrating AXA's core mission: everyone's protection.
Volunteering commitments with AXA Hearts in Action gathered more than 24 000 volunteers worldwide for more than 76 000 hours to benefit various local charities. Sports fundraising also helped these charities and NGOs. And last but not least, prevention and education actions tarrgetting employees and - new this year - the general public played a central role: Diabetes prevention tours led by distributors were launched in Greece, biking prevention helmets were distributed thanks to AXA Prevention in France, blood donation chains were organized in several countries, and first-aid trainings with the Red Cross and its subsidiaries were held in various countries.
Overall, several thousandactions, including 1 052 actions dedicated to local charities.
