After the success of the 2014 edition (the four finalists of Start-in 2014 developed prototypes which are about to be commercialized) and given the key role of this program in AXA's strategy, a new edition has begun. Start-in is indeed a global innovation program aiming at shaping a new culture of innovation while maintaining AXA's leading position. The concept? Empowering and encouraging all employees to propose ideas to invent new solutions to support AXA's transformation.
For this second edition, employees were invited to be innovative about two strategic priorities:
- "Reinvent the Customer Experience": How can we improve our relationship with our customers? What solutions could make it more intuitive, personal and efficient?
- "Support the Self-Employed and Micro-companies"(one to ten employees): Which digital services could AXA provide to self-employed and micro companies on risk prevention, risk coverage and/or business support?
During four weeks, employees from 45 countries posted more than 815 ideas on a dedicated platform. At the end of a thorough selection process, the four winning teams will participate in a four-day "hackathon" in order to turn their ideas into prototypes.
