On the occasion of the International Women's Day, an update on the programs and policies that enable AXA to develop female talent, providing them with an empowering environment and opportunities for career advancement.

  • The AXA Sponsorship Tandem, a mentoring program for women in the group
  • WoMen@AXA, a global Employee Resource Group for the women and the men of AXA with an objective to foster the professional development of women
  • Or the AXA Women's Conference, which annually brings together more than one hundred women and men of talent giving them opportunities to network and to share experiences as well as focus on strategic discussions on inclusion both from an employee and customer perspective

Indeed, the support of the AXA Group Top Management is crucial to our initiatives.

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of AXA

A company going against diversity will soon not look like its customers. We cannot claim to be listening to those who trust us, and at the same time cut ourselves off from half of them as a recruiter or a manager.*

Finally, the International Women's Day is also the opportunity for AXA to support its partner, the NGO CARE France, one of the leading NGOs on gender equality and women and girls empowerment. Celebrating this day also means to contribute to CARE's advocacy in favor of women's rights and gender equality. Learn more about CARE France and women.

What do our employees think about this?

CFO, AXA Hong Kong

AXA is a great place for career development, opportunities and international mobility. Since I joined in 2003, my roles have expanded from Life Valuation Actuary of AXA Japan with a team of 10+ to CFO of AXA Hong Kong Life and GI operations where I was responsible for a team of more than 160.
AXA fully endorses gender diversity and in Hong Kong close to 40% of the Executive Committee are female. In my view, gender diversity is not an issue and what matters are the results of one's work, commitment and working attitudes. Come and join me in AXA!
