This is especially true among the region’s Millennials, who need fast and easy access to medical insurance online. Once my team and I realized this, we decided to develop the first online medical insurance plan available in Malaysia: eMedic.

To accompany our users at every step, we streamlined the customer experience to make the process as easy as possible: it takes less than 5 minutes to enroll with no medical check-up required, claims are submitted entirely online using the Regional Health Claims Portal app, and the policy can be renewed online in a click. In addition, our chatbot “Atom” is available 24/7 via WhatsApp to answer even the most complex questions!
During the three-month development and roll-out, my team and I made sure to cater to the actual needs expressed by users on the ground. In this way, our goal is to become the preferred Health & Protection company in Malaysia."
