Engage our business partners to immediately offer innovative end to end business process and analytic solutions that ensure value generation. Lead efforts to identify end to end solutions using data and analytics for our business partners and then implement the solutions using an agile project management approach. Conduct and document meetings with cross-departmental business partners / stakeholders and IT to identify and obtain agreement on solutions. Formalize and present the business case (Cost/Benefit ROI) to obtain funding approval for the project. Develop the IT business case presentation for financial approval for IT work. Define staffing of resources, space, and equipment for each project. Define the project plan, implementation schedule, and steering committee for the project. Research SoWs with procurement for staff augmentation on proposed projects and review with Director or Senior Director for approval. Hold project team and steering committee meetings; visualize results of the project; document and manage issues and risks. Maintain the project schedule to ensure on time, on scope, and on budget delivery of the solutions. Create and manage test plans to ensure business satisfaction with project results. Manage productionization of the project deliverables. Escalate issues for resolution. Hold lessons learned meeting following the project. Act as coach and mentor to new Business Solutions Consultants.
 


  Bachelor's Degree with five to seven years of work experience in agile project management and / or analytic solutions development. Demonstrate a deep sense of curiousity, self-directedness and strong problem solving skills. Has a broad understanding of project planning and  project management execution methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has business management experience and / or IT project management experience in delivering technical or analytic solutions. Experience in the following technical areas are strongly preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; Agile project management best practices and processes; Hadoop (Cloudera or Horton Works or HD Insights), relational databases, and SQL, ETL development, spark, data validation and testing (Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT to the Data Lake, using the Data Lake for data analysis (Hadoop tools – Hive, Impala, Pig, Sqoop, Hue, Kafka, etc., Open Source tools: Python, R, java). Knowledge of Cloud platform implementation (Azure or Amazon). Knowledge of data visualization tools is also a plus (AXA US uses Tableau on multiple platforms along with Python visualization in the Data Lake using Pandas and bokeh packages). Multi-line Life Insurance and Annuity experience preferred.
