As a Data Lake Deployment Project Manager, you will join the Data Lake Program team and will be lead the deployment of data lake for multiple Op Cos. You will work collaboratively in deployment team composed of a business product owner, datas engineers, OpcCos, legal teams, big data developer teams, architecture team, big datas service management team, infrastructure team….
You will manage the projects across all phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
You will create, manage and track project phases, including but not limited to :
Project schedules, detailled project plans, project scope statements, cost estimates, Resource plans, risk and issues, status reports, stackeholders management and communication / reports.
You will be accountable of the overall success of the deployment of multiple OpCos on time and on budget.
Another important aspect of you role would be to review current deployment methodology, propose enhancements and – once endorsed by your management – implement new deployment approach and monitor it.
You main responsibilities include:
Staffing project and managing resources to meet project objectives and milestones ;
Manager stakeholders including user expectations on data products to de delivered by projects ;
Lead Project team working in collaboration with product owners and subjects matter experts ;
Implement and evangelize Data Innovation lab offering.
Organizing, facilitating and ensuring follow-up action on raised issues. Keep team members and stakeholders informed of key developments, decisions, issues, and changes to the project plan.
MS’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with a 5+ years in IT project delivery management. You have also acquired knowledge of the big data ecosystem and architecture skills.
You come from and IT structure or having an IT background.
Your skills :
- Strong experience in leading cross-fonctional project teams (priorities to meet deadlines, manage staff, coordinate project activities. …).
- Ability to cost as Project Manager with analytics and technology, including 3 years of practical professional experience in agile practices (Scrum / Kanban).
- English is fluent (French is a nice to have).
- Fundamental understanding of software programming and development ;
- Project Management Methodology knowledge : PMI or Prince2 is desirable ;
- Knowledge of data science and engineering technologies (Hadoop suite)
