As a key member of the team, performs initial triage of alerts from various sources to determine if activity is concerning. Promptly secures accounts while performing customer reach-out to validate activity. Updates records to show a clear audit trail. This associate makes determinations as to authenticity of indicators, data and customer communications, makes recommendations and fully documents activity and basis for conclusions. The sources of data to be investigated evolve continuously, and the role evolves with the need. This role also works closely with the Fraud/Financial Security and Investigations teams, escalating suspicious activity and assisting with related controls assessments.
