The primary goal of this position is to support The Life New Business organization on projects, enhancements, defect fixes, form changes and day to day production support for New Business and Distribution channels. Support includes Business Analysis, Requirements and Work Flow documentation, Test Planning, Test Document creation or review, Test Execution or review, Defect and Status Reporting and Root Cause Analysis. The incumbent will partner closely with key areas of the Business, Project Managers, Training, Technology, Controls and Testing Teams; provide work estimates; review and provide input into project plans; keep abreast of business processes through job shadowing; provide subject matter experience; work closely with peer BAs on the team; present requirement documentation to stakeholders; adhere to team processes, policies and best practices. Requires occasional weekend work to support releases.
2+ years supporting Life New Business is preferred; Ability to analyze system and process enhancements and translate into business and functional requirements; Proven ability to juggle multiple efforts seamlessly on a consistent basis. Exhibits creative problem solving, good judgment and decision making skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; expert in leading business requirements development; Ability to document and provide input into test plans and detailed test scripts; Ability to analyze current state process flows, modify or create future state process flows; 5+ years’ experience in writing business and functional requirements documentation; 3+ years’ experience documenting test plans, test scripts, executing test scripts and reporting of testing status; 1+ years’ experience using Quality Center. 1+ year experience estimating work efforts.
