The Senior Manager, Fraud Investigations role is a key member of the Central Fraud Unit responsible for detailed investigations of referrals received, developing clear, concise evidence files and related reporting.  The Senior Manager, Fraud Investigations promotes the ongoing awareness of fraud, representing the team with stakeholders across the organization, through training sessions and in the normal course of the investigative process.


  • Manages fraud investigations for assigned cases, guiding other assigned team resources when applicable (primary responsibility).
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts across functional areas of the company. 
  • Investigate cases as assigned.
  • Handle triage cases as assigned (as back up).
  • Create a training approach document and coordinate/conduct ongoing training activities.
  • Assist with case management activities.
  • Prepare and present reports and case summaries to stakeholders across the organization.

Demonstrates knowledge of:

  • Insurance process concepts.
  • AXA's products, process and controls of the organization.
  • Investigative concepts, practice and procedures.
  • Applies a working understanding of the investigative process and remediation activities.  
  • Corporate fraud investigation practices with specific related work experience
    Fraud prevention, detection, risk assessment and governance.
  • Evidence analysis (including data analysis, evidence gathering, hypothesis development and testing).
  • Fraud awareness training needs and experienced in delivering the training.


  • Bachelor’s Degree Required.
  • Graduate Degree Preferred.
  • CFE Preferred.
  • Law Enforcement Training a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in corporate fraud investigations and/or law enforcement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective report writing, with ability to apply analytics to draw conclusions and key messages.
  • Flexible and willing to respond to unanticipated issues and constantly reprioritize based on business demands.
  • Ability to influence others at all levels in the organization.
