  • Primary responsibilities of the Investment Product Sales Specialist (Hybrid Wholesaler) are to provide investment-related reviews and sales ideas, positioning of investment strategies and thematic investment content directly to AXA Advisors.
  • The candidate will be required to provide sales support in the form of branch visits and presentations, outbound calls to a designated territory of Financial Professionals and answering incoming inquiries via the Sales Desk main line. 
  • The products supported include mutual funds, equities, fixed income, third party managed accounts, alternative investments, brokerage accounts and advisory accounts. 
  • Support will also include training, product knowledge, and investment research, developing historical illustrations, sales ideas and assisting FPs with sale situations. 
  • The individual will become an influential part of the Broker Dealer Sales, responsible for supporting sales throughout AXA’s retail distribution system. 

  • It is preferred that candidates have a college degree and have a minimum 2 years investment industry experience.
  • FINRA Licenses Series 7 Required  63, & 65 (66) ability to attain them within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience should include mutual funds, mutual wrap programs and managed money programs.
  • Managed account experience is extremely desirable; mutual fund or brokerage experience required at a minimum.
  • Ideal candidate must possess the ability to assist in the management of a broad spectrum of responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Advanced sales, service and presentation skills.
  • Problem resolution skills required and must be persistent, sales-oriented, bright and motivated.
  • Must possess excellent writing and verbal communications skills along with computer skills that include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A working knowledge of Morningstar's analytical software a plus.
