Preparation of GAAP  mutual fund financial  statements for inclusion in the insurance compaines audited GAAP  separate account filings. Preparation of schedules for the  insurance companies regulatory filing for  New York State . This includes preparation of   footnotes , reconcilations and support analysis. Interfacing with auditors and management. Support  of the AXA business areas for new products and new funds.  Documentation and oversight to support SOX controls, regulatory and legal filings. This position will be expected to do reserach resolve issues and provide resolution. 


Strong GAAP Accounting  and Reporting experience.  Background in general accounting including the review and preparation of journal entries and reconcilations   Excellent organizaitonal and anayltical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   The ability to lead on projects and to provide oversight for an off shore accounting team. Excellent Excel skills and proficient Microsoft word  skills. ( 4-7 years of experience of publc accountng or GAAP reporting , CPA a plus)
