The Investment Department, under direction of the Chief Investment Officer, manages the $70 billion General Account of AXA US.  The department has a primary goal of driving investment performance of over $2.5 billion per year to support the company’s earnings targets.  This position will focus on portfolios within the $55 billion fixed income allocation.

This position will provide primary analytical support in support of investment initiatives and strategies for bond portfolios.

Able to work independently. Makes recommendations to minimize ALM exposures via investment strategies or hedging programs. Develops and documents analytical and quantitative methodologies.  Works on modeling and monitoring of dedicated total return bond portfolio as well as highly liquid component of overall General Account portfolio.  Provide ALM modeling support for the company’s Strategic Asset Allocation processes.


Formal educational preparation on managing investment risks; working knowledge of capital markets. Strong mathematical skills, typically achieved through an MS or more in a quantitative discipline; programming skills in a high level language.

·         Master’s in Finance/Quantitative.
·         2+ years quantitative financial analyst experience.
·         Understanding of financial derivatives.
·         Very strong quantitative skills.
·         Experience with portfolio management theory and practice.
·         VBA programming knowledge and the ability to learn additional programming.
