The ideal candidate will  have proven success in driving business growth through prepared, concise and persuasive retirement presentations in a variety of settings.
Strong ability to communicate AXA's service tools including plan and participant technology, participant service center capabilities and available education material.
Familiar with defined contribution recordkeeping systems helpful 
Efficient territory management (travel required)
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Extensive knowledge of qualified retirement plans
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proven ability to increase deposits
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Retirement Plans and/or retirement products

The Mid-West Retirement Plan Consultant primary responsibilities are:
 
• Build and Maintain local relationships with Plan Sponsor clients, including regular on-site visits to discuss ways to improve plan success and promote plan to eligible employees
• Coordinate, promote and present at employee education and enrollment meetings, encouraging employees to participate and maximize contributions to their plan  Responsible for increasing plan participation, contribution rates and asset transfers.  Also responsible for promoting plan awareness amongst plan participants and building client satisfaction for newly sold clients and existing clients .  Additionally will assist strategizing with internal and external business partners to develop presentations that target client needs and align with plan design.
