Under the direction of a newly invigorated leadership team and through the effective execution of a new distribution strategy, the Financial Protection business has a 5 year strategy to boost APE results significantly through a combination of both retail and independent channels by 2020. Today, the third party channel presents AXA US with a tremendous opportunity for growth and profitability. A meaningful component of the overall strategy is to significantly and exponentially grow AXA’s independent distribution channel. To achieve this, the business needs to recruit an experienced third party distribution leader who is a subject matter expert in this market and has demonstrated a track record of measurable success and experience.
As a senior position in the distribution leadership, this executive will be responsible for developing strategies, exploring partnerships and executing on third party initiatives within the Financial Protection business. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous and growth oriented environment, and consistently create the right conditions for success. He or she will help shape the strategy for AXA’s third party distribution channel and further develop and challenge AXA’s thinking to effectively implement the vision. The chosen candidate should have established industry contacts to effectively promote the value proposition of AXA to potential partners.
This executive will lead a team of high-performers to meet and exceed performance objectives while focusing on the development, mentorship and professional success of members of the team. This person will be an active and hands-on manager, who motivates and inspires his/her team to achieve at their highest potential. He or she will be a “talent magnet,” recruiting and retaining high potential future leaders of AXA.
