Duties: Play a key role in development of and production support for new and existing IT systems of high complexity and scope in accordance with the Company’s IT integration standards, security and audit guidelines, and methodologies. Lead the process of compiling, analyzing, designing, testing and prioritizing system design components and implementation. Use knowledge of systems analysis to perform data gathering and analysis, systems design and implementation, logical design, detailed design, and to ensure data security in the design. Perform system evaluation, integration, vetting, modification, troubleshooting, and optimization. Assist with technical testing, ensure that the system and unit tests are performed, and review test results. Act as subject matter expert for DW infrastructure and services to provide technical support for ETL processes on Netezza platforms. Monitor DW applications and develop procedures to improve the DW environment. Liaise with business unit customers and vendors to support development and implementation of IT solutions using dimensional modeling techniques. Serve as a primary contact with business leaders and analysts to provide cost savings analyses for governance. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members. Use Netezza, IBM Infosphere Datastage, Linux, PIG, HIVE, Tableau, HBase, R, Oracle, and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) to carry out job duties.
Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or closely related field plus at least six (6) years of post-Baccalaureate, progressive experience in a related IT Analyst role performing systems analysis. Demonstrated experience must include: Using Netezza, IBM Infosphere Datastage, PIG, HIVE, Tableau, HBase, and R; Performing estimation, planning, execution, and requirements analyses of IT issues; Guiding IT development team with regards to customer needs, specifications, design targets, development process, design standards, techniques, and tools to support task performance; and Communicating and resolving interface and integration issues.
