The Senior Manager Accounting & Reporting (Operational Accounting) is a vital member of the Finance Organization at AXA US. The primary focus of this position is to partake in the accounting and financial reporting, spanning all lines of business in life operations. This position prepares complex analyses and journal entries, creates various ad hoc management reporting, compiles reviews and analyzes financial statements, manages a series of complex functions or departmental projects, ensures financial control processes are adhered to, provides support for audit and regulatory requests, assists in the gathering, analyzing and prioritizing of business functional requirements to facilitate the development of new systems or technical solutions for the business, reviews staff journal entries and account reconciliations, performs user acceptance testing, prepares documentation of standard operating practices, and identifies opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will work closely with our operations team to explain results and deliver financial reporting requests received from various internal and external stakeholders, including our global parent entity in Paris France, AXA Global Life.
