Summary of Role and Responsibilities
• Directly manage all aspects of the project lifecycle
• Manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality
• Validates project financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of project expenditures
• Develops communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilities
• Chairs project meetings as appropriate and provides periodic project status reports
• Defines and tracks project milestones
• Provides periodic project status reports
• Develops project charter, project plans, project schedule, contingency plan and related project management artifacts
• Analyzes business needs and provides analysis
• Ensures high quality project results with clearly defined scope and quantifiable business benefit
• Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating and delivering projects for given strategic initiatives
Major Challenge: Challenges mirror those faced by all PMOs including ambiguity - lack of defined project requirements, scope changes, project staffing, metrics, communication, deadlines and stakeholder engagement. The PMO is evolving and looking for an individual interested in the challenge of managing projects while developing, enabling and implementing positive changes that will enhance and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of project delivery.

Minimum Education Requirements: 
• Bachelor’s Degree 
Work Experience: 
• 10+ years of experience in Project Management with at least 7 years of experience as Project Manager responsible for full project lifecycle
• 2+ years of experience in Business Analyst role responsible for Business Requirements gathering and Process Mapping 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proven ability to quickly earn trust of sponsors and key stakeholders
• Resolve conflicts, deliver tough messages with professionalism
• Execute with limited information and ambiguity
• Experienced at performing business analysis
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision both written and verbally
• Experience with stakeholder management and solid influencing skills
• Strong leadership and PM skills including planning, prioritizing, scheduling, executing and delivering projects and meeting deadlines
• Experience in project testing from developing test plans and cases to executing test cases 
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of healthcare and/or travel insurance industry
• Strong business analysis skills and experience 
• Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills; ability to communicated tech to non-technical; Bilingual: English – Spanish or English – Portuguese a plus
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
• Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
• Ability to direct others and work in a team environment
• Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
• Learns quickly and can act independently
