  • Educated to university degree level (pref. Actuarial Sciences).
  • More than 5 years of experience in P&C insurance, including underwriting, pricing and product development knowledge.
  • Experience in international projects.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Strong knowledge concerning MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).


Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Project Management Techniques.
  • Expertise in underwriting and pricing for P&C insurance.
  • Good knowledge of performance management.

Mission - Job purpose

  • Promote a sound risk management culture and governance throughout the organisation of underwriting and pricing topics within the scope of the region.
  • Participate in the development of regional P&C risk management family on underwriting topics.
  • Ensure the monitoring and build-up of the risk management second line of defence on underwriting topics across the region.



Main Accountabilities & Activities

  • Lead team to ensure that P&C products approval and profitability assessment processes are defined, implemented and controlled across the region.
  • Provide technical underwriting and pricing support to risk management teams to provide an opinion on new products launches, new tariff deployments and existing line of businesses performance (profitability and risk and uncertainties).
  • Provide quality assurance controls of second line of defence by ensuring the update, formalisation and implementation of P&C underwriting governance and by testing and challenging underwriting decisions.
  • Participate in the design and deployment of training programs to develop underwriting and business skills within the region.
  • Ensure effective relationships between key stakeholders at local, regional and Group level.
