Corporate control/Asset management reporting area in AXA US Controllers department is involved many corporate controls including management of the closing process, balance sheet accountability and reporting and accounting for the company's Asset Management segment. The implementation of our new SAP general ledger will enhance our ability to become a more customer focused, analytics driven organization. We are looking for an individual with superior analytical and interpersonal skills with a background in accounting. At a high level, responsibilities for this role will include:
• Assists and prepares accounting and reporting on all basis (IFRS, US GAAP, STAT) for Company's Asset Management Segment
• Responsible for gathering, analyzing and prioritizing financial deliverables to
facilitate review and analysis for the department and Senior management
• Provides supporting documentation to audit requests
• Assists/Performs SOX Compliance Testing
• Prepare Separate Company Financial Statements
• Assist in preparation of forecasts and plans for Company's Asset Management segment
• Review and documentation of accounts for balance sheet accountability
• Assists and monitor of the Company's closing schedule
• Contributes to the transition of activities and related processes to the Finance Moving Forward initiative
• Supports special project requests


• Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting and reporting concepts                                                                                                                                                                                      
• Demonstrates analytical skills  
• Asset management and or Insurance industry reporting experience is a plus
• Excellent written/verbal communications and listening skills
• Two to five years accounting experience a plus
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and meet project deadlines and work within a fast-paced, project-driven and team environment 
• Strong knowledge of MS products (Excel, Word)
• Solid understanding of consolidation/accounting  principles a plus
• Knowledge of SAP reporting tool a plus
• Ability to handle different tasks simultaneously a plus
 Good communication skills are required as the candidate will be required to converse with our Parent Company, our asset management subsidiary and internal management
