  • Fluent in English
  • IT related qualifications would be useful
  • Experience or strong knowledge in Microsoft products
  • Experience or strong knowledge in Citrix
  • Experience in managing & configuring IT local devices (workstations, laptops, thin client, tablets, phone, printers, routers, network, LAN) is essential
  • Good communication (written and verbal), analytical and organisational skills

You are part of a worldwide Operations/ Process Management (OPM) and IT team, and in that context your missions are split between local and international focus.

In that context, your mission is to:

  • Perform first line support for IT systems in the UK office
  • Participate in AXA ART Group IT initiatives and perform tasks for the Global IT team

Within the Operations / Process Management & IT Team, your main responsibilities will be:

Information Technology:

  • Support all (local) IT systems including telephone system, mobile devices, printers, local IBM servers, etc.
  • Provide first line support for the Group Infrastructure in respect of user accounts/permissions, logging calls on the Service Desk, remote access into the infrastructure
  • Coordinate local activity on Group Infrastructure initiatives
  • Provide first line support for the main Policy/Claims/Accounting system by logging calls on the Service Desk and working with the Global Infrastructure Team
  • Work with 3rd parties to support and develop the local infrastructure
  • Undertake IT procurement and set up of new local hardware i.e. PCs and mobile devices
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Run local reports 

Training and Support:

  • Assists users with queries on MS office, how to access the Group Infrastructure both locally and remotely
  • Prepare training documentation on any changes to the Group infrastructure 

Business Continuity Planning – BCM (Local and Global):

  • Participate in the local and Group BCM testing

Group Infrastructure:

  • Participate in Group IT initiatives and projects
  • Participate in the implementation of new servers, IT Tools, policies and network changes
  • Act as the backup contact point for the IT outsourced service

Facilities Management (Local):

  • Assist with facilities management

Proportion of Local to Global work is approximately 60/40. There will be an element of out of work hours required involving some evenings and weekends.
