The developer will work on the critical applications of Risk P&C CATNAT (Natural Catastrophes) perimeter, in an international context.

 

This pool of applications (8) provides the risk taken by AXA Group; AXA’s exposure to natural disasters and calculate the reinsurance need. These figures are necessary to calculate Solvency 2 ratio (regulatory constraint).

 

The technical analyst works both on BAU and projects and is directly in contact with GRM (Group Risk Management in AXA GIE) actuaries.

 

Applications are developed in C#, .net, on Azure infrastructure.

  • Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions to answer the need (both for projects and BAU)
  • In case of issues: investigate, propose workaround (if possible) and implement /test corrections
  • Participate to operational committee with GRM team members
  • Develop, test, deploy and document the implemented solutions, in respect with AGO guidelines (DevOps, CI/CD + security guidelines)
  • Ensure maintenance of application already lives
  • Collaborate with architecture and security teams for new implementation definition
  • Support users

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

 

  • Experience with large volume / optimization in C#
  • Rigor and Excellent level in algorithmics
  • Good experience in using cloud APIs
  • Good knowledge of cloud frameworks (Azure batch, serviceIO, etc.)
  • Be keen about security when coding 
  • Good experience in developing CI/CD pipelines
  • C# and associated framework
  • SQL
  • Agile project methodology

 

SOFT SKILLS:

 

  • Good communication skills
  • Attentive, available and reliable with good team spirit
  • Proactivity and results orientation (be able to propose new ideas to optimize memory, simulation time and infrastructure cost. )
  • Willing to learn and accept new challenges (Be open to work with other languages)
  • Degree in a relevant area, such as, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Agile Methodology
  • English: Independent user (B1 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Ability to travel - Ability to travel
