Due to the highly successful Apprenticeship intake at the beginning of this year, AXA Health are excited to announce we have a further twelve Customer Service Apprentice opportunities in our Membership team due to start 24th January 2022. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn and earn within a highly successful and supportive company. Joining us as a Customer Service Apprentice, you’ll be an essential member of the team helping our customers over the phone, by handling their queries. You’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships based on Integrity and trust. We always put the Customer First in everything we do, so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll learn all about the insurance industry and achieve a nationally recognised qualification that will boost your career potential. It’s a great alternative to higher education or university, or perfect if you’re simply looking for a change of direction in your career. You’ll receive training from an award-winning specialist training provider, alongside providing client delivery service support. On completion, you’ll gain qualifications in:

  • IF1 – Insurance Legal and Regulatory
  • IF4 - Claims
  • IF7 – Healthcare

You’ll answer calls from people going through various health problems (from physio to cancer treatment) and advising them on their claim. You may need to decline a customer request too. This will involve using judgement to take responsibility for gathering information and finding out answers, putting your customer’s interests at the heart of every decision you make.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days on a rota basis. With our customers in mind, our phone lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-5pm Saturdays and Bank Holidays. You'll know well in advance the shift patterns you will be working each week, so you can plan around your hours.

Induction & Training:

Induction Date:  24th January 2022

During the first twelve weeks, you’ll receive full training to be able to begin your role and Apprenticeship.   • No previous experience is required! We’re looking for highly organised and motivated individuals who are comfortable speaking on the telephone and have excellent attention to detail.

  • We’ll provide all the technology and training, and in return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm, passion for customer service.
