Lead and drive AXA Insurance in meeting its business objectives through the delivery of IT strategy, day to day operations & initiatives. Ensuring all solutions and service deliverables are high quality and consistent with existing AXA standards, policies and strategies.Perform fine tuning and performance analysis of the System. Handle PEGA and Peripheral system versioning control/release management

Key Responsibilities:


PEGA Technical Excellence 

1. Conduct Design Review of the application and provides guidance to the team and the client on recommendations to help ensure the development of a successful application. 
2. Reviews reports, class structure and high level development
3. Works closely with the platform owner on design decisions related to the project.
4. Create functional Design, Construct Class Hierarchy and Object Models, Define Test Strategy
5. Support the high level scope and objectives of the project.  
6. Understand the process of the function in scope to enable implementation. Understand clearly the requirements of the customer and ensure that there is a minimum gap between the expectations of the end users and the final deliverable from the technical team. Leads the team in documentation of user requirements and processes.
7. Consults with business leaders during Elaboration phases.
8. Implement Activities and Methods, Implement Pega-Responsible Services and Connectors. 
9. Make code or configuration changes to meet the specifications
10. Provide technical leadership to the project delivery and support maintenance team.  

Solution and Service Delivery  

1. Drive and monitor vendors to ensure they follow the required delivery process.  
2. Work closely with internal technical or vendors to build, integrate and deliver local solution/fix for assigned tasks to ensure high-quality delivery.
3. Direct and control the effective resolution of IT support service requirement with first line support by teams and second line support by intragroup / external vendors & outsourced / offshored partners.
4. Work with different technology teams (backend core team and front end digital team)  and manage other service providers to ensure IT service level agreements meet the business expectations with seamless “one-stop” service to users. 
5. Manage BAU projects and business process improvements for IT department as well for the organisation by working with cross functional teams as and when required.  
6. Plan, design and implement IT disaster recovery plans that form a component of business continuity planning.


• Bachelor degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
• Certified Pega System Architect.

• 10 years experience in systems development.
• Minimum 8 years experience in Pega Development/Configuration
• Prefebably with Insurance and financial services industry experience 

• Strong knowledge of Insurance domains specialising in Front end and backend  solutions for point of sale, customer touch points and Policy servicing/claim .
• Good verbal and written communication skill
• Able to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions on a tight schedule.
• Proficient in PRPC Application Development
• Expert in troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Good analytical skill
• Able to understand business requirement and provide system design/solution.
