Motor Claims Handler - Hybrid Working

Managing new and existing claims, making decisions on the customers policy cover and paying claims. Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. We have a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays, including some Bank Holidays, but we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Our Interview Stages:
Following your application, we will review your details and if successful, next will be a video interview. We’ll give you lots on info in advance to help you prepare, and one of the resourcing team will always be on hand to offer help and support if you need it.
Your Induction and Training:
Induction Date: 10th January 2022
You’ll still have a structured training programme with one of our specialist Trainers, which will be delivered on-site at our Birmingham office for 4 weeks. Following your training and once more competent in the role you will then move to a hybrid way of working from home and in the office. We will provide you with the right training throughout your career, with the intention of making you the best you can be to provide excellent service to our customer in a time of need. But we won’t just stop there, we have 1000’s of training opportunities and courses so your future is most definitely within your control.

Claims have a structured development framework with salary increases once you achieve certain points in your development journey, this will be an additional approx. £500 typically every 6 months. Following your 3rd increment you will hopefully be qualified enough for a promotion to the next level.

- You’ll need excellent customer service and communication skills and experience working in a frontline customer service role, ideally in a claims or office environment.
- Good knowledge of driving is advantageous.
- Digital competence and sytems capaibility.
