Presentation of the department:

The AXA Group’s Communication & Engagement Department - part of the Brand, Communication and Corporate Responsibility Department - has a mission to build engagement with major internal and external audiences with a view to promoting and safeguarding AXA’s image. It includes corporate communication, digital communication and internal communication.

Within this department, the Digital Communication Department has a mission to define the Group’s editorial line, define the editorial lines for the various platforms, create relevant content, monitor its performance and build engagement with the various audiences. 

Purpose:

Within the Digital Communication & Social Media Department, the Social Media Executive Program Manager is responsible for the strategy to be adopted across social media for AXA Group Management Committee members.

Liaising with business partners, Group companies and communication departments, they are the vital social storytelling pivot for AXA’s leaders. 

Their core missions are to: 

  • Define strategic recommendations for Social Media, in line with Corporate strategic planning and the executives’ personalities:
    • Define an editorial line
    • Define recommendations for formats, distribution planning and graphic production
    • Ensure the relevance, quality, effectiveness and originality of content 
    • Monitor performance and adjust the content strategy accordingly. 
  • Be the key point of contact: 
    • With the dedicated agency about Influence Strategy: Manage the relationship with our partner covering business intelligence, opportunities for sharing messages and strategic recommendations 
    • With the LinkedIn and Twitter platforms and influence rating agencies: Manage the relationship with our partner platforms and monitor the benchmarks covering other influential leaders from the sector 
  • Performance tracking and analysis
    • Monitor performance on a daily basis and consolidate the various reports

Main Expectations:

  • Working closely with the Social Media Manager, innovate to drive changes in Social Media formats and optimize their performance
    • Carry out ongoing business intelligence to monitor differentiating Social Media formats
    • Jointly build and convince the editorial committee about new content formats 
    • Measure and monitor the effectiveness of content published in order to adjust future recommendations 
  • Convince and manage your stakeholders:
    • Identify your key stakeholders and contributors and convince them of the relevance of your recommendations to ensure that the content published is aligned, coherent and consistent 
    • Consolidate and communicate on your recommendations

  • Content strategy, creation and production
    • Format recommendations
    • Analysis and communication on the areas for development identified
  • Business intelligence, creativity and performance
    • Business intelligence and proactive approach to changes in editorial and graphic formats 
    • Performance tracking and reporting, deployment of improvement plans 
    • Good knowledge of digital metrics
  • Stakeholder coordination and engagement:
    • Collaborative work with the Executive Assistants and Executives

Experience:

  • Experience in communication, marketing or journalism roles greatly appreciated
  • International experience appreciated
  • Good knowledge of the Insurance Sector

Technical and professional skills: 

  • Expert knowledge of journalistic, editorial processes 
  • Expert knowledge of social media, specific platform features and paid media formats
  • Knowledge of web publishing, listening and performance tracking tools (Khoros, Talkwalker)

Interpersonal skills: 

  • Strong deductive and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Collaboration and ability to interact with transversal teams 
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
