AXA is embarking on its most radical and ambitious change programme in the history of its Healthcare business. Driven by a changing UK health landscape, the growth in the (preventative) Wellbeing sector, and the need for radical simplification, we’ll be uniting several businesses under one powerful brand ‘AXA Heath’. We have some exciting opportunities for talented Scrum Masters with experience working in product centric organisations, to join us and work on an exciting new set of digital propositions. Working in AXA Health, you'll have significant opportunity to make a difference, working with the teams and their key stakeholders, to maximise the value that they can achieve.

Our mission is to ‘empower people to be the best version of themselves’ with a wide range of new, market leading, app-based wellbeing and integrated medical (insurance) services. Underneath the surface of our new business, we have the need to become a data, analytics and technology enabled leader to power our Health ambitions. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and our Tunbridge Wells office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Improve the effectiveness of the Agile Teams, ensuring their capability, interactions and practices are optimised to efficiently deliver high quality software solutions.
  • Encourage identification and removal of impediments that hinder progress, to maximise the efficiency of the team.
  • Protect the team against counterproductive stresses, that undermine consistent delivery of quality software solutions at a sustainable pace.
  • Teach, coach and mentor all stakeholders (internal and external) in the appropriate behaviours and practice, to enable the most efficient delivery of valuable outcomes, encouraging self-management and self-organisation.
  • Influence all management levels to consistently enable productive change, aligning to “servant leader” principles, and the appropriate empowerment with accountability.
  • Facilitate any events necessary to achieve efficient and effective delivery.
  • Establish clear lines of accountability and communications, between key stakeholders and team members.
  • We would like you to drive engagement & empowerment, creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
  • Proactively foster a safe, transparent environment, to continually optimise delivery through a practice of inspection and adaptation.
  • Certification as Professional Scrum Master L1 or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a highly motivating atmosphere in which many people feel energized and enthusiastic about achieving common goals.
  • You will need a Growth mindset whilst you encourage the team to experiment and take calculated risks in search of innovative solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully coaching team members and key stakeholders to help them in tackle with curiosity and a drive to innovate in novel ways.
  • So if you are passionate about enabling learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities we would love to hear from you.

With a presence in over 60 countries, and 165,000 employees serving the needs of 107 million customers, AXA is big.

But never too big to care for every single person who works here.  So when you join us, we promise to put our collective might behind you and your career.

You’ll work in an open and supportive environment where you’ll be developed, challenged and encouraged to move around to achieve even bigger and better things – nationally and internationally. You’ll learn directly from senior leaders, from the best in our business. And you’ll enjoy real responsibility, really early on.

Every large company today talks about supporting diversity and inclusion. But at AXA UK, these values form an integral part of everything we do. For us, it’s about bringing together the best talent, helping people to realise their full potential by being 100% themselves at work and delivering outstanding service to everyone – regardless of difference.

We all work together to be the best we can be.

One of the best things about joining AXA is our rewards package. At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience
  • Annual company & performance-based bonus
