As a Technical Analyst, he / she contributes to Technical Requirement Analysis, Conception and integration of solutions, Developments and unit tests, Applicative monitoring



In Risk Management P&C team, the Technical Analyst is in charge of maintaining and enhance the Remetrica solution used for P&C STEC (Short Term Economic Capital) calculation of AXA Group. It allows to calculate centrally P&C provisions based on internal AXA model, for Solvency 2 purpose. 19 entities are leveraging the application. This solution is based on a Software provided by AON.



  • Bug fixing, defects resolution
  • Application monitoring
  • Support to GRM (Group Risk Management – GIE) and end-users in entities
  • Provide technical specifications
  • User guides redaction
  • Analyse, design, specify, develop, implement, test and deploy change requests
  • Provide technical impacts analysis and advisory
  • Liaise with infrastructure teams to update landscapes, analyse system performance, solve technical incidents


Technical skills:

  • Mandatory: 
    • Good knowledge of R language for statistical computing and graphics.To be sensitive to best practices such as: Clean Code, TDD, SOLID, Code Review, Refactoring, DRY, etc.
    • Have in mind to think usually to technical debts, how to avoid them or reduce their impacts.
    • To be able to propose new ideas to optimize memory, simulation time and infrastructure cost.
    • Rigor and Excellent level in algorithmics.
    • Good knowledge of SQL Server is enough.
    • Be open to work with other languages like C# and Python.
    • Support (levels 1, 2 and 3).
    • Good communication skills and team spirit.
    • Good experience in using cloud APIs
    • Good knowledge of cloud frameworks such as Azure SDK for .NET
    • Be keen about security when coding (ability to use Sonarqube, Checkmarx)
    • Very good experience in developing CI/CD pipelines
    • Technical Environment: RStudio, Azure DevOps, Git, R 3.5, SQL Server, HPC Pack 2012, ReMetrica 7.5, Python, Visual Studio 2017, C#, .Net Framework 4.6.2, ADO.NET, WPF, Winforms, Interop Excel, Sonarqube, Checkmarx
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with large volume in C# and SQL Server (ability to deal with Out of Memory exception).
    • A very good knowledge of C # language (Winforms, WPF, .Net Core 4.6.2 at least, ADO.Net, Interop Excel, HPC).
    • Python
    • DFA models (ex: ReMetrica)
    • HPC, Multi-Threading

Functional skills: Insurance, Risk Management
