Job Purpose       

To source, coordinate and execute Nordic real estate transactions on behalf of a wide variety of AXA IM Real Assets’ existing or new clients investing through funds or mandates

Key Accountabilities

  • To source, underwrite and execute real estate investment opportunities to meet the investment requirements of AXA IM Real Assets’ existing or new clients (Funds, Mandates, JV, Club-Deals)
  • To head up acquisition and due diligence process including coordination of internal teams (Fund Management, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Legal) and third parties (brokers, lawyers and technical advisors)
  • To manage the analysts & associates supporting the Pan-European transaction team
  • To negotiate acquisition contracts (asset or share deals, development)
  • Analysis and/or presentation of documents at Investment Committees
  • To develop new relationships with potential vendors, operating partners, advisers and other market participants that enable the sourcing and the closing of new transactions
  • Directorship in Nordic SPVs
  • Assist the Nordic Asst Manager in analysis and market input
  • Support the Client Capital Group in meetings in the Nordic region
  • To perform others tasks and projects as assigned from time to time

Role Requirements


  • Good degree level education


  • Significant experience in real estate transactions in a variety of asset classes (residential, office, logistics, retail…), ideally in a similar role at another investor or investment fund

Knowledge and Skills

  • Capacity to carry out transactions in multiple Nordic jurisdictions
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong cross-cultural management skills
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Excellent financial modelling skills (cash flow analysis and forecast)
  • Knowledge of Nordic real estate markets
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mind, ability to adapt according to clients’ needs
  • Language: bilingual
