We have several exciting opportunities for Claims Handlers to join us in our Belfast office. We have temporary and permanent opportunities available. 


At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Belfast office, working most likely 3 days from home. Talk to us and tell us what works for you as we’re open to part time working conversations.

We offer on target earnings of up to £20,000 with starting salary £18,525 and career progression within 6-months with us. 

Joining us as a Claims Handler in our Home & Motor teams, you’ll be there to provide claims handling to our customers. You will manage their claim, making sure that all parties are aware of the situation until the work is completed.

You’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships based on Integrity and trust. We always put the Customer First in everything we do, so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them.

How you’ll make a difference:
•    Accurate and timely completion of case notes/logs/diaries for each customer
•    Deployment of cases to appropriate and approved suppliers
•    Ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded on every call so as to successfully complete every case
•    Process cases in accordance with department procedures and agreed authority levels
•    Full ownership and accountability of the claims you are involved in managing.
•    Support call handling activity in other areas during times of high demand

The experience you will need to have
• At least 6 months experience of working within a customer service or claims handling environment. 

• Successful GSCE or equivalent
• Be customer orientaWorking Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working pattern during core hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. 

• No previous claims handling experience is required! If you come from a customer facing role and possess strong Customer Service Skills. This is a great role for someone who wants a career change within a different sector.
