Objective of the Position

Managing and coordinating an specialist middleware platform team within daily operations understanding the applications deployment, support new implementations related to the supported techologies. Focused on bring operations stability according to the agreed SLA's, prioritizing business operations across all the transversal middleware components. Establishing a working, standarized and agile operative team support model for Productive and Non Productive environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the operations at Productive, Non Productive and Disaster Recovery envirnoments for the web presentation layer platform, authorization/authentication manager platform, application middleware platforms, integration and application gateway services.
  • Organize the support team at the implementations of new requirements accross the supported productive and non productive platforms.
  • Be responsible of the execution, time and effort applied for each platform requests.
  • Arrange the support, patching and update of middleware supported platforms.
  • Lead technical solutions at incident crisis scenarios, understanding the overall technology architecture.
  • Develop the best ITIL practices inside the managed team and area processess. 

Educational Level:

Bachelor’s degree

Language required:

English – Advanced

Specific experience and knowledge:

  • 3 years at least of management and leadership of high a performance specialist team.
  • 3 years at least of management and leadership of high a performance specialist team.
  • Middleware deep layout knowleadge from the following platforms: 
    +Application Middleware components:
      -IBM Websphere Application Server. (Mandatory)
      -RedHat Jboss Enterprise Application Platform. (Mandatory)
      -Oracle Weblogic Application Server. (Mandatory)
      -Apache Web Server. (Mandatory)
      -NodeJS environment services. (Desired) 
      -Tomcat Application Server. (Desired)
       +Integration services:
      -IBM Integration Bus. (Desired)
      -IBM Message Queue services. (Desired)
      -IBM DataPower Secure Gateway. (Desired)
        +Middleware Business services:
      - Authotization and Authentication Platform. (Desired)
      - IBM ODM platform. (Desired)
      -IBM BPM/BAW platform. (Desired)
  •  3 years at least of incident crisis leadership across operating productive technology platforms.
