We’re looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our established Musculoskeletal (MSK) service team on a part time permanent basis. The successful candidate in this role will have sound experience in orthopaedic and or musculoskeletal settings, ideally within a triage service, as well as pain management experience, including CBT training. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers, based either from our Glasgow or Bristol offices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and apply advanced clinical reasoning skills to case manage members through their AXA journey. 
  • Clinical telephone consultations with our members who are seeking guidance with MSK issues. 
  • Dealing with often complex cases, which provides you with the chance to showcase your evidence-based reasoning skills to our members.
  • Being part of a reputable MSK team you will be mentored by an extended scope practitioner to continually develop your skills. We also offer clinical progression as well as access to an extensive IST programme, and generous CPD support.
  • You’ll have proven experience in case management, occupational health or ergonomics, UK based experience preferable, but not essential. 
  • Your CPD portfolio should demonstrate your commitment to developing your clinical knowledge and management of MSK disorders, in addition to improving your clinical reasoning skills.
  • Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, essential.
  • Band 6 Physiotherapist.
  • IT literate: fluent in the use of Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that will allow effective management of conflicting influences and demands.
  • Analytical and comprehensive problem-solving skills to appraise accurately the needs of the patient.
  • Confident to make clinical judgements that may be challenged and seeking guidance when unsure.
