Head of Financial Crime

With this in mind, we have a challenging role to head the Financial Crime function within AXA Partners. The overall responsibility of this role is to set policy and strategy in respect of Sanctions, AML/CTF and ABC.
We are looking for a Head of Finance Crime to ensure that AXA France AML requirements are defined and adhered to as part of the relevant delegation to the CLP business. With a number of years of experience you will dive into multiple tasks and responsibilities, including identifying, assessing, mitigating, managing and reporting on Financial Crime risks across AXA Partners.

This is a permanent full-time (35-hour) position and can be based in UK, France or Ireland.
Day-to-day responsibilities …
- Ensure the implementation of a compliant Sanctions Screening Program across AXA Partners.
- Ensure Compliance with the Financial Crime requirements as required by AXA Group
- Ensure AXA France Financial Crime requirements are in place over the delegated business lines.
- Ensure robust AML program across AXA Partners.
- Drive business Compliance with applicable national regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant GSH/PFPM requirements.
About you …
You are analytical with the ability to lead and support your team and business in order to inculcate an effective compliance culture. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be well=experienced with global legal and insurance regulatory frameworks.
Commercial acumen and the ability to influence with persuasive skills and a high level of personal integrity is a must. Your own strong knowledge and understanding of insurance products and distribution models will help you meet deadlines, prioritise, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
Lastly, occasionally, we would like you to travel to the business operations to oversee the effectiveness of local compliance programs.
