The main role of the Workplace Assessor is to be available to our customers on site to conduct workplace assessments and advisory services to our Corporate Clients.In this rewarding, varied and fast paced role you’ll support our health and wellbeing service offering onsite and remote health assessments, and health promotional activities to all of our key clients. We're looking for candidates living within a commutable range of Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire as this will be your client base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Communicate effectively with employees to identify workplace issues and identify solutions to assist them in the workplace. This includes undertaking effective, clinically appropriate workplace assessments.
  • Liaise with appropriate key stakeholders, both internal and external to proactively manage cases through to completion, ensuring appropriate escalation as required.
  • Accountable for maintaining records  to ensure data entered into client records  is  contemporaneous, accurate, legible, concise and coherent.
  • Complete written reports to a specified standard of formatting and quality, taking into consideration, evidenced based practice, findings, requirements of the client, clinical reasoning and commercial awareness.
  • Take responsibility  for agreed geographic areas, managing time effectively to meet clients needs and specified service level agreements and ensuring any trends relating to specific issues or referral volumes within area are escalated to the clinical team Leader.
  • Actively participate in agreed projects as directed and with discussion and support from Clinical Management Team to assist with the current and future delivery of the service.
  • Participate in the  auditing of Internal and External colleagues and 3rd party providers reports to assist with self development and the overall quality of the service.
  • Responsible for maintaining professional registration including CPD and participate in sharing knowledge with the team to ensure clinical colleagues remain updated and provide evidenced based practice.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation and organisational policy and procedures escalating any concerns to Clinical Team Leader.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.

  • Professional qualification in Nursing, Ergonomics, Physiotherapy and or Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership of relevant clinical professional body.
  • Reasonable knowledge of assistive technology.
  • Sound knowledge of Legislation pertinent to job role ie Equality Act / HASAW Act / DSE Regs / Data Protection.
  • Experience in taking anthropometric measurements.
  • Knowledge and experience of work rehabilitation and workstation assessments.
  • Enhanced Verbal and written communication skills
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work Autonomously whilst also being a team player
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Able to travel to client sites within a specified location independently.
  • Commercial awareness.
