We are recruiting for Recruitment Specialist to join our HR Team, experienced in Volume recruitment, creative and influential and passionate about talent acquisition. 

Work remotely with our Smart Working arrangements, working mainly from home, in the office either in Belfast or Derry base. Our Talent Acquisition team works to deliver on resource requirements throughout AXA Ireland; reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager we work autonomously on campaigns and actively support each other in attracting and hiring the best candidates. We are in the process of transitioning to a Smart working model, which means giving our people increased flexibility in job location and working arrangements. This changes how we work and how we recruit people into the organisation, and you will be a key part of enabling this exciting transition. 

You will partner with business leaders in Volume recruitment in our Derry, Branch and Claims Business, guiding in Smart hiring and equality best practice. You will work proactively to build relationships with local communities to attract the best candidates.   

•    Liaise with managers to develop deep understanding of their business areas and staff roles and how Smart hiring can help them
•    Work closely with the Business to forecast and understand the talent needs of the organisation and develop an active candidate pipeline
•    Actively build relationships across communities, groups, colleges to boost candidate attraction
•    Proactively work with Marketing and Digital on building our Employer Brand 
•    Manage and deliver on end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, assessing, selecting, hiring and initiating onboarding
•    Act as a key point of contact educating hiring managers on Smart hiring practices, employer brand and relevant interview techniques
•    Contribute to process improvements and other HR projects 
•    Maintain recruitment tracking database for statistical analysis on all hires and branding effectiveness
•    Maintain knowledge of HR best practice and policy, issuing of contracts of employment with accurate personal files and documentatio

You'll have

•    At least 3 years recruitment experience, managing Volume recruitment campaigns with exposure to in-house and agency in the Northern Irish job market
•    Proven experience of partnering with hiring managers
•    Experience with hiring for a remote/hybrid workplace desirable
•    Creative and proactive “can do” attitude to relationship building, sourcing & digital marketing
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, making naturally good first impressions and with a natural ability to be tactful, diplomatic and professional
•    Process improvement or project experience desirable
•    Good working knowledge of employment legislation and familiarity with company terms and conditions of employment
•    Positive and creative influencer with the ability to interact with people from a variety of different seniority, cultures and business disciplines
